Hi Ultimate players,
Can we move back to Cubberley from Greer?

We've had much lower turnouts recently, ever since the Eagle Park guys split back off.  And their turnouts haven't been great either.  However, a lot of them come from the south, and they have said that coming north to Greer takes enough longer that they won't come.  But many said they WOULD come to Cubberley.

The Eagle Park gang is probably moving to Cubberley anyway.  Half of Eagle Park is blocked off, and the other half is expected to be blocked off in 2 weeks.  And they want to play on the artificial turf when it's rainy.  Cubberley's artificial turf fields are great in the rain.  And the grass fields are fine the rest of the time - for all of us.  We won't want to play Greer in the rain.

We switched back to Greer, in large part, because the Cubberley fields were all busy with summer camps and such.  But no one is using the fields at lunch now.  And they should remain free until June.

In the past, we also had a lot of Sun people drive down from Menlo Park.  Unfortunately, most of those guys aren't at Sun anymore.  And I think there are about as many people who are closer to Cubberley as people who are closer to Greer.

Not to mention that the fields at Greer are noisier (due to the freeway), and windier (IMHO).
Unless someone has strong objections, I recommend moving back to Cubberley.  Beginning this Tuesday.  What do you think?

-Scott
